The Chinese Year of the Dragon in 2024 is coming soon, and there are still 5 days before the holiday. Many friends will be curious about how we celebrate the New Year(Spring Festival)?

The Spring Festival marks the Lunar New Year and represents people's desire for a new life. Before celebrating the festival, people clean their houses and use high pressure washers to clean yards and roads. Government departments also arrange for workers to use high pressure washers to clean streets and sewers to keep them clean.

People would go to the barber shop to get their hair cut and buy new red clothes. Put up red door curtains and hang red lanterns on doorways and windows. Red is the main color used during the festival as it is believed to bring good luck and ward off evil spirits.

The Chinese people attach great importance to New Year's Eve. The whole family will gather together to have New Year's Eve dinner, give each other gifts, enjoy delicious food, and celebrate the arrival of the Year of the Dragon. After dinner, people will set off fireworks in the yard, hoping that good luck in the new year will be as brilliant as the fireworks. After that, from the first to the fifteenth day of the Lunar New Year, relatives and friends will visit each other as guests and participate in various cultural activities.

Finally, CVOLTIO send sincere blessings, wishing all our friends health and happiness, smooth work, prosperous business, and better and better!
